Dear Democratic governors,

I have followed the big "D" party for years and what I can not under stand is why you all are so blind to the fact our states and nation is in real finanical trouble. It looks like our party only cares about getting relected, note financual stability.

I am embarassed to have been associated the the big "D". At least the Governor of New York is one Demcorat that seems to have the courage to reduce the size of state government.

The clock is ticking and the big "D" will be the miniority party for years to come unless we start electing financially conservative candidates with out direct ties to unions.

I am a lifelong Democarat of 30 Years (I'm now 48) yet I became a registered Independent in Aug. 2009, because the Democratic party I belonged to has become an exclusive haven for extremists: "pro-choice for abortion without restrictions"; broken promises (the President sent an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan despite his campaign p[ledge to "end the war NOW"; and recently allowing off-shore drilling, despite his pledge to "go green).
By the same token, as a consistent ethic of life advocate, I oppose abortion, capital punishment, and support war only in VERy limited circumstamces.. Therefore, neither the Republicans nor Democrats represent my views (particularly as one who has worked 20+ years with disabled people, which the Republicans show little interest in.
YDA Women’s Caucus Rejects Discriminatory Amendments to Health Reform Bill
Posted in October 2nd, 2009
by Kevin Bondelli in Caucuses, YDA Takes on Health Reform
On the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Young Democrats of America (YDA) Women’s Caucus announced their opposition of amendments to Sen. Max Baucus’ health reform bill aiming to marginalize women and prevent access to reproductive and maternity health care.
While the YDA Women’s Caucus supports comprehensive health insurance reform, the Women’s Caucus opposes the following:
•	The rejected Hatch Amendment and any amendment that seeks to eliminate public or private plans that cover abortion care
•	Any plan for reform that does not provide women with satisfactory maternity care
•	Discriminatory provisions that seek to charge women who are 40 to 64 years old five times the average premium charged to younger women
In addition to ensuring that women have fair and equal access to health care, the YDA Women’s Caucus supports a health care bill that will no longer allow insurance companies to discriminate against women for “pre-existing conditions” such as C-sections and domestic violence.
“The only pre-existing condition here is the health insurance industry’s self-prescribed policy of discriminating against women,” said Rachel Farris, spokeswoman for the YDA Women’s Caucus. “But Young Democratic women are the children of baby boomers. We’re not afraid to burn our bras to influence change.”
“Equal health care rights for women are the torches that this generation has been passed from the pioneers of Roe v. Wade, and we’re prepared for the battle.”
Members of the YDA Women’s Caucus will be participating across the country in the YDA’s National Day of Service on October 20th in support of a health care reform bill that promotes women’s health.

A failed LEFT WING POLITICIAN belonging to a party that is responsible for FAILED POLICIES such as the NEW Deal (New Deal legislation PROLONGED the Depression and DID NOT end World War II!), and the Great Society, which was not so great (With the exception of much needed and long overdue Civil Rights Legislation). Daschle is a political has been and an idiot! Then again, all LEFTWING Dimwitcrats are idiots. Good luck you leftist dolts! Hope you're enjoying the change you voted for.

The dems/libs are distroying this country with debt and failed plans. Show me any Dem program that has ever worked and that is not in debt or in major default. The war on poverty?, Social Security?, Medicare?, Medicaid?, Fianacial bailouts?, Auto bailouts?, Job bailouts?...none of this has ever worked. A new "CHANGE" is your same old ideas. Open your eyes.....let yourselves see the truth. All Democratic ideas in action have brought is debt, breakdown of the family and the destruction of our cities, states and now the country.

Wake up

The American people are speaking. Less than a year after President Obama takes office, the GOP is coming back. Way to waste all that political capital. Dems control the the White house and both houses of Congress and can't pass their crappy Cap andTrade bill or the disastrous healthcare bill. Keep going like this and 2010 will be a GOP landslide.
