It looks like our party only cares about getting relected, note financual stability. I am embarassed to have been associated the the big "D". At least the Governor of New York is one Demcorat that seems to have the courage to reduce the size of state government. The clock is ticking and the big "D" will be the miniority party for years to come unless we start electing financially conservative candidates with out direct ties to unions. By the same token, as a consistent ethic of life advocate, I oppose abortion, capital punishment, and support war only in VERy limited circumstamces.. Therefore, neither the Republicans nor Democrats represent my views (particularly as one who has worked 20+ years with disabled people, which the Republicans show little interest in.
